Constructing the facilities of the CEB
During the implementation of the construction and erection base (CEB) of the Paks II. investment, more than 110 facilities are needed to be built there.

The two new Paks NPP units will replace the current ones.

Electricity is always needed: night and day, winter and summer.

The national electricity consumption will rise about 1% per year.

The fixed price means the amount of 12,5 bn EUR of the investment won’t be higher.

Storable fuel
Nuclear fuel can be stored safely, in a small space in huge amounts, and can be bought from several sources.

Affordable electricity
The nuclear power plants contribute to the affordable price of domestic electricity significantly.

Climate friendly
Nuclear power plants cannot be ignored in the fight against climate change.

Safe
The new Paks units will be of the safest, generation 3+ technology.
The Paks investment may enter the second, implementation phase in September, at which time Gergely Jákli will take over the management of Paks II. Ltd.
These long lead items will be installed at an early stage of the implementation.
