The employees of Paks II. joined the Christmas donation campaign initiated by the Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Human Capacities this year.

- A teddy bear or a scented perfume, small car, toy tool kit, these are all things that most people can buy for their child at any time. However, most children living in orphanages can only dream about it. Fortunately, in order for dreams to come true, during Advent, many people start collecting or joining a charity, said Communications Director István Mittler. - We at the company also consider it important to take on a social role, so we try to support those in need every year. We have already collected presents for the Pediatric Unit of the János Balassa Tolna County Hospital and the Family Support Service of Paks Sub-regional Social Center, as well as for the Tamási Caritas Association, said István Mittler.

The company - together with other organizations working on the Paks II. project - like last year, joined the national fundraising initiative started by the Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Human Capacities this year, so they could fulfill the Christmas wishes of children living in orphanages.

As István Mittler said, the staff of the Communications Division coordinated the charity action within the company. This year, 150 packages were packed by the employees of Paks II. Ltd. based on the individual wishes of the children. - I am pleased to say that the willingness to donate is growing year by year. Far more of our colleagues wanted to make packages than were needed. We were able to help make Christmas more beautiful for 120 children last year and 150 this year, he said.

Paks II. Ltd. - as highlighted by the communications director - places great emphasis on charitable activities. The company has been organizing blood donations together with the local organization of the Hungarian Red Cross for years, and despite this current epidemic situation, there has been no change. The last blood donation took place in September. Christmas donation is already a tradition, and the company plans to continue this in the future, István Mittler added.
