Paks II. Ltd. received the construction license from the Hungarian Atomic Energy Authority for the construction of another structure of the construction and erection base, the assembly and storage area of steel fittings.

The assembly and storage area for steel fittings will be part of the steel and rebar assembly plant. This is where the steel structures will be pre-assembled and installed following the anti-corrosion treatment of the steel structures. The finished products are then transported to the construction site or to a temporary storage facility for the steel structures. The area will be equipped with two 50 tons gantry cranes with a span of 42 meters and two also 50 tons gantry cranes with a span of 32 meters.

Paks II. Ltd. has now obtained official construction licenses for 14 structures of the construction and erection base. The construction of the first three buildings - a three-story and a four-story office buildings and a kitchen-diner - is nearing completion.
