The Hungarian Atomic Energy Authority (HAEA) is holding a public hearing in an electronic form due the pandemic situation regarding the implementation license application of the Paks II. project. During the public hearing, the interested parties and various shareholders can get to know the subject and course of the procedure, express their view and raise their questions.

The comment and question period of the electronic public hearing held regarding the „Assessment of the implementation license application of the Paks NPP Units 5 and 6” lasts from 4 March 2021 to midnight on 18 March. The HAEA accepts questions and comment at the following e-mail address kozmeghallgataspaks2@haea.gov.hu.

The Authority shall publish the questions, comments and opinions received, as well as their answers and responses, by means of a notice.

As is known, Paks II. Ltd. submitted its application for a nuclear implementation license to the Hungarian Atomic Energy Authority on 30 June 2020. The official administration deadline for the implementation license procedure is 12 months (which can be extended by the authority by 3 months).
