Interactive Information Truck

The interactive information truck is a mobile exhibition which provides information about nuclear energy with interactive tools. The exhibition „brings home” the information about the national role of nuclear energy, the Paks Nuclear Power Plant and the works of the new NPP units. The truck has been visiting the settlements, festivals and events of Hungary since October 2009 so everyone can get to know the project. The mobile display has hosted more than 400.000 visitors since its start.

The visitors can gain knowledge about nuclear energy, the currently operating four Paks NPP units and the two new NPP units in the mobile exhibition. The interested can get to know the achievements of the Paks II. project so far, the importance of the project, social, economic and environmental effects and roles. The exhibition became more interesting by introducing photos and short videos, for example about the most modern VVER-1200 NPP unit, but the visitors can also take a virtual tour in a nuclear power plant similar to the one designed for Paks.

The interactive display of Paks II. Nuclear Power Plant Ltd. received a professional recognition in the Public Communication category of the international competition of Atomexpo Awards.
The truck is constantly travelling from county to county, and it is a recurring visitor of festivals, such as VOLT, Balaton Sound, EFOTT, Campus, East Fest, Sziget, SZIN or Debrecen Flower Carnival.
During summer festivals the exhibition is helped by the so-called „Energy Island” tent, next to the truck, where several programs and games await the interested.
